Meet Mrs. Stonebock
I grew up in the suburbs of St. Louis. I attended Truman State University and graduated with my Master’s in Elementary Education in December of 2010. In May 2014, I earned a second Master's in Educational Leadership from Aurora University.
I began my teaching career in the Wentzville School District (a St. Louis suburb). I taught technology courses for grades K-5 and moved into a fifth grade position for a few months while a teacher was on maternity leave. During the summer of 2011, I married my husband, Tom, and moved to Peoria. I began working in Peoria Public Schools at Whittier Primary. At Whittier, I taught both second and third grades. I have served as a mentor teacher for college students entering the field of education, as well. This will be my tenth year of teaching and my seventh year teaching third grade at Robein! My husband is also a teacher. He teaches social studies at East Peoria Central Junior High School. Tom coaches baseball for the junior high and East Peoria High School. We have a daughter, Katherine, who just turned five in August. Our son, Johnathan, is a year and a half. They keep us busy! We love the Robein community! |
